Meet your Physiotherapist

Tara Campbell, MSc PT

Tara is a sports and pelvic floor physiotherapist who works out of BodyCo Toronto. She treats all types of injuries and issues specializing in Pelvic Health, Pregnancy & Postpartum Recovery. 

She is certified as a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and is passionate about educating her clients in a way that allows them to have more autonomy and to use what they learn in all aspects of their life.

The Maternix Approach

I believe everyone deserves access to affordable care during pregnancy and the postpartum period. 

I believe many issues people suffer from during pregnancy and the postpartum period stem from a lack of understanding of the core, the pelvic floor and how our body works all together. 

Finally, I believe that many of these uncomfortable and sometimes debilitating symptoms could be improved or even avoided with access to more information & tools for recovery. 

 

During my time as a Physiotherapist, I have noticed a massive gap in understanding, education & resources when it comes to the pelvis and the pelvic floor, how it is impacted by pregnancy and how we can help it to recover postpartum. 

If we want to set mothers up for success emotionally and physically, this simply must change. 

I started Maternix to provide more people with affordable Physiotherapy education & rehab-based exercises accessible from the comfort of their own homes. 

The information and exercises in both the Pregnancy Course and the Postpartum Recovery Course will make a difference for you now and for years to come. It is essential that people understand their own bodies and Maternix will help you do that.
