My wish is for Pelvic Health to be better understood and accessible to everyone – especially pregnant and postpartum people. My goal is to help people feel confident and comfortable in their own body, before, during and after pregnancy.
After working as a Physiotherapist for a number of years, I noticed that there was very little support and resources available to those dealing with pelvic floor related issues and I desperately want to help change that.

This 2-part course will teach you about your body, how it changes during pregnancy and how to reduce the impact of those changes to keep you comfortable and strong. It goes into detail about the pelvic floor, exercising while pregnant, posture, pelvic pain, birth prep, common women’s health conditions and much more.
It also provides you with exercises you can use throughout your pregnancy.
All of this helps to prepare your body for labour, delivery and a better recovery postpartum.
This 5-part course is designed to get you moving safely postpartum and gradually progress you through to impact exercises so that you can get back to the activities you love without fear and pelvic floor symptoms. It teaches about the pelvic floor, recovery timelines, common postpartum conditions and how to prevent them. It helps you understand and re-build core strength and address common areas of pain and tightness keeping you comfortable and confident.
Taking time to reconnect and rehabilitate your body with confidence helps both physical and mental recovery postpartum.
Tara believes that there is no “one-size fits all” when it comes to pre & postnatal care. She created Maternix courses to empower and teach mothers how their bodies change, heal and function so that they can fully recover and avoid common postpartum conditions such as incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain and more.
